Mounting TVs to the wall is something I’ve been doing for a living for a couple of years now. The top two of the many questions that I get asked is which type of plasma tv bracket to go with? And where do you get your mounts?

Types of Plasma TV Brackets

wall_mount_ts_blackTilting and Swiveling: This is the most flexible type of mount since it is able to be pointed up/down and it can be turned left and right. A common use for this mount is to put it in one room, but also have the option of facing it towards another room. This type of mount usually extends about 5″ from the wall

Tilting: Tilting mounts are able to turn up/down, but not side to side. This mount is great for people who want to mount the TV up high on the wall and face it down towards the viewing area.

Low Profile: Low profile wall mounts are the best if you are looking to put the TV as close to the wall as possible. It is much like hanging a picture since it can only face straight forward.
